Plannedo (“we”, “us”) operates the planning app and the website at plannedo.com (together, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account information. Your name and email address when you create an account. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email from that provider (you may choose to hide your email when using Sign in with Apple).
- Content you create. Tasks, notes, journal entries, goals, habits, lists, tags, and related scheduling data you add to the Service.
- Subscription information. When you purchase a subscription, your payment is processed by Apple (App Store) or our web payment provider. We do not receive or store your card details. We store your subscription status, product, and renewal/expiration dates to unlock paid features.
- Technical information. Basic data needed to operate the Service securely, such as your account preferences (timezone, locale, theme), session cookies, and server logs (IP address, request time) used for security and abuse prevention.
How we use your information
- To provide, maintain, and secure the Service and sync your data across your devices.
- To authenticate you and keep your session active.
- To process and validate subscriptions and entitlements.
- To send essential account email (for example, password resets and a welcome message).
- To prevent fraud, abuse, and to comply with legal obligations.
Tracking and advertising
We do not use third-party tracking, advertising, or cross-app/website tracking. We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your content to build advertising profiles.
Sharing your information
We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service, and only as needed:
- Hosting and infrastructure — to store your data and run the Service.
- Payment processing — Apple (for in-app purchases) and our web payment provider (for purchases made on the website).
- Email delivery — to send transactional account email.
- Authentication — Apple and Google, only if you choose to sign in with them.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Service.
Data retention
We keep your account and content for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data and content from our systems, except where we must retain limited records to comply with legal, tax, or security obligations.
Your rights and choices
- Delete your account. You can permanently delete your account and associated data at any time from Settings → Delete account inside the app.
- Access and correction. You can view and edit your content directly in the app, and contact us to request a copy or correction of your personal data.
- Manage subscriptions. App Store subscriptions are managed in your Apple ID settings.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the Service.
