Settings and themes

Every setting in Plannedo — themes, the sidebar, badges, daily reminders, Apple Reminders, week start, timezone and your account.

To open Settings, click your name at the top of the sidebar (the one with the gear). On a phone, open the menu first. In the Mac app, Plannedo → Settings… or ⌘ ,.

Settings save themselves as you change them. They belong to your account and apply on all your devices, except Apple Reminders, which is set per device.

Pick a theme:

Theme
System Follows your device: Linen Sage by day, Night Linen in dark mode. The default.
Linen Sage Warm paper, clean sage, and a soft hover.
Night Linen Dark paper without a pure black background.
Apple Paper (Pro) Soft warm paper with the Apple Store blue.
Deep Forest (Pro) A richer, deeper evergreen on light paper.
Daylight Ink (Pro) Strict monochrome — light mirror of Midnight Ink.
Midnight Ink (Pro) Strict monochrome — only shades of gray.

Click a section to hide it from the sidebar, click again to bring it back: Inbox, Week, Month, Tasks, Goals, Journal, Habits, Lists, Tags. Today is always there.

What the counters next to sidebar items and on the app icon show:

  • Today — Off, Tasks only or Tasks, habits & journal;
  • Inbox — the count next to Inbox;
  • App icon badge — the number on the iPhone app icon or the Mac Dock icon.

A Morning and an Evening notification, each with its own switch and time. See Daily reminders.

Sync with Reminders, Import Siri Reminders and Sync now. See Sync with Apple Reminders.

  • Week starts on — Monday or Sunday. The last two days of the week are treated as the weekend in Week and Month.
  • Timezone — when your day starts and when reminders fire. If your device is in another zone, a Use this device link appears.

Your Name, your Email (to change it, write to support), your password, Sign out and Delete account. See Password, sign-out and deleting your account.

  • Today — the sliders button turns sections of the day on and off. See The Today page.
  • Week and Month — the sliders button shows or hides tasks, recurring tasks and habits. See Week and Month.
