Reminders & apps
The Mac app
Menu commands and keyboard shortcuts in the Plannedo Mac app, the Dock badge, widgets and how the window behaves.
The Mac app is the same Plannedo as on the web, in its own window, with a few things only a desktop app can do. Get it from the App Store; it needs macOS 13.5 or later.

The window
Section titled “The window”- The sidebar button sits next to the window controls; it hides and shows the sidebar.
- The window can’t be made narrower than the desktop layout, and works in full screen.
- Closing the window quits Plannedo. Reopen it from the Dock or Launchpad.
- Links to other websites open in your default browser.
Badge, notifications and widgets
Section titled “Badge, notifications and widgets”- The Dock icon shows how much is left today while the app is running. Choose what it counts in Settings → Badge — see Reminders and the app badge.
- Reminders arrive as regular macOS notifications.
- Widgets work on the desktop and in Notification Center on macOS 14 or later.
- Sync with Apple Reminders works on the Mac too.
When adding an image to a goal board, the Mac app opens the standard file picker.
