Questions and answers

Short answers to the questions people ask most about Plannedo — price, devices, goals, reminders, widgets and data.

Yes. The Free plan doesn’t expire and needs no card: unlimited tasks, one goal with a full board, three lists, three habits and a journal every day, on all devices. Pro adds unlimited goals, lists and habits, reminders and all seven themes.

A to-do app helps you get things done. Plannedo also keeps what you’re working toward in view: each goal is a board you can look at, tasks and habits can belong to it, and every evening you note whether the day moved it. After a few weeks you can see which goals are moving and which only live in your head.

No. Every section of the Today page can be switched off, and plenty of people use Plannedo as a plain daily planner. See The Today page.

Nothing happens. Goals have no streak to break and no score to lose. The days you skipped stay empty in the goal’s history; open Plannedo and carry on. (Habits do keep a streak — that’s what habits are for.)

Yes, in the browser at plannedo.com. The apps are for iPhone and Mac; there’s no separate iPad or Android app. See Web, iPhone, iPad and Mac.

Does it sync between my phone and computer?

Section titled “Does it sync between my phone and computer?”

Yes, it’s one account. Changes appear on your other devices when you open or come back to Plannedo.

Screens you’ve opened recently open without a connection, but changes need one. See Offline.

There’s no importer. If your tasks are in Apple Reminders, turn on Sync with Apple Reminders and move them into the Plannedo list in Reminders: they come into Plannedo as tasks.

Can I share a list or a goal with someone?

Section titled “Can I share a list or a goal with someone?”

No. Plannedo is a personal planner; there’s no sharing or collaboration.

Check that:

  1. you’re on Pro;
  2. the task has a date and a time;
  3. the Plannedo app is installed on your iPhone or Mac and allowed to send notifications;
  4. your timezone in Settings → Region & format is right.

Reminders come from the iPhone and Mac apps only, not by email or in the browser. See Reminders.

Why does my widget say “Open the app once to set up this widget”?

Section titled “Why does my widget say “Open the app once to set up this widget”?”

Open the Plannedo app while you’re signed in; the widget connects to your account then. This is also needed after signing out or changing your password. See Widgets.

An App Store subscription is cancelled in your Apple ID settings (or with Manage App Store on the Billing page). Web purchases don’t renew, so there’s nothing to cancel. See Buy, restore or cancel Pro.

What happens to my things if I stop paying?

Section titled “What happens to my things if I stop paying?”

Nothing is deleted. You keep reading and editing everything; you just can’t add past the Free limits. See If Pro ends.

I deleted a task by mistake. Can I get it back?

Section titled “I deleted a task by mistake. Can I get it back?”

No — deleting a task can’t be undone. Goals and habits are different: archive them instead of deleting, and you can restore them any time.

Email support@plannedo.com. The person who builds Plannedo answers it.
