Create an account and sign in

Sign up with email, Google or Apple, sign in on your other devices, and reset a forgotten password.

One Plannedo account works everywhere: on the web, in the iPhone app and in the Mac app.

On plannedo.com or in the app, choose Create account, then either:

  • fill in Name, Email and Password (at least 8 characters) and click Create account; or
  • click Continue with Google or Continue with Apple.

You land on Today, with a short tour and a few sample items to play with. There’s no confirmation email to click.

With Continue with Apple you can choose to hide your email; Plannedo then uses the private relay address Apple gives you. If you sign in with Google or Apple using an email that already has a Plannedo account, you’re signed in to that account rather than getting a second one.

Use the same method you signed up with — the same email and password, or the same Google or Apple account. In the iPhone and Mac apps, Continue with Apple opens Apple’s own sign-in sheet.

You stay signed in until you sign out.

  1. On the sign-in page, click Forgot password?
  2. Enter your email and click Send reset link.
  3. Open the email and follow the link within 60 minutes.
  4. Enter your email and a new password twice, then click Reset password.
  5. Sign in with the new password.

Resetting the password also disconnects the widgets on all your devices; they reconnect when you open the app on each one.

If you signed up with Google or Apple, you don’t have a Plannedo password. You can add one in Settings → Account → Set a password, so you can also sign in with your email.

Plannedo picks up your timezone when you sign up. It decides when “today” starts and when reminders fire. If you move or travel for a while, change it in Settings → Region & format → Timezone — when your device is in a different zone, a Use this device link appears there.

The email can’t be changed in the app. Write to support@plannedo.com from your current address.

More account options — password, signing out, deleting the account — are in Password, sign-out and deleting your account.
