Goals
See which goals are moving
Read the line and the four-week ribbon under each goal board to tell a goal you're working on from one you only think about.
Every goal keeps a short record built from your evening answers. It isn’t a score — it’s just what happened, and after a few weeks it tells you something memory can’t: which goals you’re actually moving.
The line under the board
Section titled “The line under the board”The strip under each board shows, from left to right:
- the deadline;
- a row of small dots for the last three weeks — green for Moved, grey for Thought or Not today, pale for no answer;
- one line of summary.
| Line | Means |
|---|---|
| Moved today, Moved yesterday, Moved 5 days ago | When you last moved it |
| On your mind 3 days | No Moved in the last four weeks, but you answered Thought on these days |
| Set aside 2 days | Only Not today answers in the last four weeks |
| No answers yet | Nothing recorded yet |
The ribbon
Section titled “The ribbon”Tap the strip to open the ribbon: one square for each of the last 28 days, in weeks that end today. Today’s square has an outline. Hover over a square to see its answer — Moved, Thought, Not today or Nothing.
Under the ribbon, a line counts the period: for example 3 moved · 2 thought · 1 not today.
For a goal younger than four weeks, the ribbon starts on the day you created it. Whether a goal’s ribbon is open or closed is remembered on all your devices.
On Today
Section titled “On Today”Each goal card at the bottom of Today has a thin bar under it with the same four weeks: green for moved, purple for thought, grey for not today, empty for no answer.
How to read it
Section titled “How to read it”Look once a week, not every day.
- A long run of green — the goal is moving. Keep the tasks coming.
- On your mind with no green — you keep thinking about it, but nothing reaches the day. Add one small task linked to it.
- Set aside for weeks — fine if it’s a deliberate pause. If not, it may be time to archive it and give its slot to a goal you’ll move.
Missed evenings leave empty squares, nothing more. There are no streaks to break and nothing to keep alive.
